Large Petal Plate Pecan<Sophie Lou Jacobsen Best

The Petal Plate from Sophie Lou Jacobsen is hand-made in New York City. Coming in a pecan brown colourway, the opaque bowl takes a delicate petal shape with curved edges. It is made using a process called slumping, where the plate is shaped in ceramic and then cast in plaster, and glass-discs are heated in a kiln and slumped over the mould.
