The Makaha T-Shirt from Sunray has been crafted in Japan and knitted on an antique circular knitting machine, a technique used before jersey production became highly mechanised. This method resulted in every Sunray T-Shirt taking over 1.5 hours to make and features a very traditional fit which is squarer, boxier and slightly shorter than a fashion fit. The Makaha T-Shirt is also environmentally friendly, with neck labels made using fully recycled polyester and hang tags printed on recycled card, using biodegradable vegetable inks from a carbon neutral printer.
